Become a more confident reading teacher through practical, classroom-ready science of reading strategies

A free 4-day virtual event for K-5 reading educators

📆 July 20-23, 2026

Join 12,000+ educators who’ve already attended

Watch to see how four days of free, practical PD can change the way you teach reading, without adding more to your plate.

Implementing the Science of Reading takes a whole lot more than reading the research and buying the right resources

You’re bought in. You know SOR is the right approach, and you’re doing your best to make it work. But…

  • You’re teaching the skills, but students still aren’t retaining them, and you’re not sure what to adjust.
  • You’re juggling different levels in the same classroom and struggling to make SOR work for all of them.
  • You have resources, but no clear system for how to sequence and use them together.
  • There’s barely enough time to teach everything you’re required to, let alone layer in structured literacy consistently.
  • You want a repeatable literacy block that actually sticks, not something you have to reinvent every week.

That's exactly why this summit exists, to give you the practical strategies and clear next steps to make structured literacy work in your real classroom.

RIGHT NOW YOU'RE…

Overwhelmed with so many choices of resources,  yet none of them seem to be the right one that you need at that time.

Teaching the skills, but your students aren’t retaining them—and you’re not sure what to do differently to make it stick.

Struggling to find approaches that work for all your students when they’re at such different levels.

Trying to fit SoR strategies into your day, but there’s barely time between everything else you’re required to teach.

Unsure how to use structured literacy every day in a way that is clear and sustainable

It doesn’t have to be this way!

There's a better way to teach reading. And it doesn't require starting over or spending hours reinventing your lessons.

How would it feel to...

Walk into your reading block knowing exactly what to teach, in what order, and why.

Finally see your students making real progress, even the ones who’ve been stuck.

Have a simple, repeatable system for structured literacy that works across all the levels in your classroom.

Feel confident explaining your instructional choices to parents, coaches, and administrators.

Stop piecing things together from five different places and actually have a plan that holds.

This is exactly what you’ll experience at the Science of Reading Summit!

During the Science of Reading Summit, you'll get practical, classroom-ready strategies from 20+ literacy experts, so you can walk away knowing exactly what to do differently in your reading block.

Meet Your Host

Hi, I’m Delilah Orpi!

I’m a literacy specialist, former classroom teacher, and homeschooling mom who has been in the trenches of reading instruction — and I know how overwhelming it can feel to implement the science of reading without clear, practical guidance.

I’ve been trained in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Top 10 Tools, and other structured literacy approaches, and for the past several years I’ve made it my mission to help K-5 educators cut through the noise and teach reading in a way that actually works for their students.

This is our 4th year hosting the Science of Reading Summit, and over 11,000 educators have already attended. Every year, the goal stays the same: give you research-backed strategies you can use the very next day in your classroom.

Grab your ticket and join me and 20+ literacy experts for four days of practical, classroom-ready PD — completely free.

I can’t wait to see you there!
